Disculpame, pero no se pueden subir las fotos como las que subis vos. Deviantart tiene unas reglas de copyright que no permiten que subas fotos de "famosos" por asi decirlo, por más que digas de donde las bajaste, no se puede, googlealas (si ponés "deviantart rules" te aparecen segundas las de copyright) y, por favor, cambiá las fotos de sitio ( te recomiendo flickr, yo subo las mias allá ) así no tengo que reportarte. Besos :)

(No me refiero a todas, ojo, estoy copiando y pegando el mismo mensaje con varias personas que hacen lo mismo asi se dan por enterados, me refiero nada mas a las fotos/ediciones/actions que tienen fotos de famosos).

Oh ok.

I thought that they looked like images I'd seen before.
But at least some were edited weren't they? like backgrounds and stuff like that?

I can't remember at the moment... sorry.
But still editing doesn't allow you to do whatever you want with a picture. If it's copyrighted (like the official manga&anime art) you can't post it on dA, even if you manipulated it.
